Moldovan international lock Andrei Mahu signed a two year deal with current Russian vice champion Krasny Yar (Krasnoyarsk).
Playing with Kuban Krasnodar in RRPL since July, Mahu has been loaned to Krasny Yar for the Challenge Cup qualifying tournament from October to December. Krasny Yar was definitely convinced by his performances and offered him a contract.
The Moldovan lock will play for Krasny Yar until the end of 2018. Baring other signings at lock, Andrei Mahu should be a starter in RRPL and European competitions.
Andrei Mahu is the first international signing of Krasny Yar for the 2017 season. He will be a key player for the upcoming Challenge Cup playoff against Timisoara.
